...and again.

So, I arrive here again in the spirit of starting over.
My last post  was a few months before being diagnosed with a brain tumor.
I'm finally at a stage of my recovery from brain surgery, over two years post-op, that I'm ready and able to begin sharing. 
It's a long-ass story and it's going to take a while to tell.

I laughed, I cried, and I was reborn (short version).

If you want the juicy details, please stay tuned as I will be spilling the tea here just as soon as I figure out the way to do it, lol. The brain, she's still catching up.

A month or so ago I walked out of my little side job (like quit, walked out, like a not so quiet or graceful ninja), came home, sat down, and I started painting as if it were necessary for my survival.

It surprises me to see how much joy flows from my new work. But, then again, it doesn't.
There is always beauty in the chaos, stillness in the storm.
​This is what I seek.
I am thrilled to be painting again. I'm beginning anew again. Things are different again, and I will be back in touch again :)
